2. Data We Collect and Purpose

Gmail Filter Builder is a tool designed under the "Privacy by Design" principle. By default, the application runs locally in your browser (client-side) and does not collect, store, or transmit to our servers any information about your emails, searches, generated filters, or personal usage data.

Data is processed only in the following explicit cases:

Technical connection data: When visiting the website, our infrastructure provider (GitHub Pages) may temporarily log your IP address and browser User-Agent for security purposes, DDoS attack prevention, and network performance.
Donations / Payments: If you choose to make a voluntary contribution to support the project via the donation system, the payment will be processed entirely by third-party platforms (Lemon Squeezy or GitHub Sponsors). We do not collect or have access to your bank or credit card data at any time.

3. Data Recipients (Data Processors)

To provide the service and enable development support features, we share strictly technical data or delegate processing to the following providers, with whom the mandatory Data Processing Agreement (DPA) exists:

Microsoft Corporation (GitHub Pages): Provides web hosting. Their servers may be located in the United States, operating under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
Lemon Squeezy, LLC: Acts as the Merchant of Record for processing voluntary payments. If you donate via card, Apple Pay, or PayPal, Lemon Squeezy will collect your email and billing info under their own privacy policies, acting as the data controller for that payment.

4. AI Technologies (AI Act)

We explicitly inform you that this website DOES NOT use generative Artificial Intelligence engines or automated decision-making systems in its filter creation functions. All generated code is based on deterministic programming logic.

5. User Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to obtain confirmation on whether we are treating your personal data. Not having registered user databases, the exercise of rights is inherently limited to the technical nature of the website, but at any time you may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Portability, and Objection by sending an email to the contact address specified in the Centralized Legal Notice.

Likewise, if you consider that we have not treated your data properly, you have the right to file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local authority.
